About me

About me

I am a seasoned design leader with over a decade of experience in shaping user experience and creating pleasing user interfaces. It has been my pleasure to create work that has helped clients and employers refine their brand, increase engagement and grow their business.

I possess deep expertise in user-centric design thinking, UX design, user research, persona development, user journey mapping, wireframing, prototyping and working with eng/dev to handoff clean work. I am adept at uncovering user insights and translating them into intuitive and user-friendly designs.

As part of my user-first design philosophy, I believe that accessibility is key in both system design as well as in client-facing products. This includes WCAG guidelines on contrast, screen reader instructions, focus/swipe order and annotating designs early in the process to reduce handoff/development churn. Accessibility is a key way to discuss functionality in the earlier parts of the design cycle and get developer buy-in so handoff is easy.

You can see recent design work, read case studies about an enterprise seeking to determine the best time to use in-app notifications to update users about new features and new products, a toy store needing new product feature research as well as an easier way to search for products and improve the cart & checkout experience among others.

In a past internet life, I managed content marketing partnerships with brands like Microsoft, Nintendo, xBox and Suave. In a further past internet life, I was a digital art director at an agency for clients such as Axe, Sega, and eBay.

I enjoy weird movies, electronic music, single player video games and photography. I live in Brooklyn, New York.
